Products Description

Isoprene solvent, this magical molecule, is actually a general term for 2-methyl-3-butadiene, 2-methyldiethylene or 2-methylbutadiene. Isoprene solvent can be synthesized into isoprene rubber (IR) through a specific chemical reaction with similar properties to natural rubber. This odorless rubber was introduced in the 1950s, and its production and processing performance are even better than natural rubber in some aspects!

The molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of isoprene rubber can be flexibly controlled to ensure its stable use and processing performance. This rubber has a wide range of applications, such as tires and tire treads (cis). Trans-polyisoprene is used to make golf ball covers, hot melt adhesives, and automotive and industrial products.

The liquid obtained after the depolymerization of polyisoprene can be used as an active plasticizer for adhesive tapes, hot melt adhesives, brake pads, grinding wheels, and wire and cable sealants. Polysulfide rubber (PSR) is resistant to hydrocarbon solvents, aliphatic fluids, and aliphatic-aromatic mixtures.
